Grew up in the Lippentot District. Farmed at home for several years. Jack belonged to the Lippentot hockey for several years. He and his wife farmed in the Inglesfield District (McGregor farm) also south of Maryfield for two years. Jack and Bernice lived in Winnipeg during the war years, working fo rstandard machines, over-hauling aircrafts. He worked at construction from 1945-1949 at many different places. They came back to Maryfield and worked for the Municipality for four years. In 1954 he took over the cafe in Carievale, Saskatchewan where they were for five years. They returned to Maryfield and since the Jack has done sewer construction and plumbing
