Death of Mrs. McBean.

The death occurred at her home in Glencoe on Tuesday afternoon of Mrs. McBean, widow of the late Alexander McBean, in her 78th year. She was a sister of the late David McEachren, of Ekfrid and the late Archibald McEachren, of Glencoe, and was the last surviving member of her family. Her husband died several years ago when the family were living on their farm on the Longwoods Road in Ekfrid. Shortly after his death Mrs. McBean, with her son Hugh and daughter Maggie, came to Glencoe to reside. Her other children are Mrs. Quinn, of British Columbia, and Alexander and Duncan, of Manitoba. Three children predeased her - Donald, David, and John, the two latter within the past year.

The funeral arrangements have not been made when the Transcript went to press.¹
