WILHELM, Harold W. Harold William Wilhelm, 81, of New Hamburg and formerly of Toronto passed away in St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener on Thursday, February 9, 2017. He was born in South Easthope Township, Perth County on March 10, 1935; a son of the late Joseph and Delcie Ella (Biederman) Wilhelm. Harold had been a computer programmer in Toronto for many years, prior to retiring and moving to New Hamburg. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Glenn Binkle of R.R.4, Stratford; many nieces, nephews and their families. He was predeceased by two sisters, Doris Seyler Pearson and husbands Milton Seyler and Sidney Pearson, Florence Schmidt Wilhelm and husbands Lorne Schmidt and Oliver Wilhelm; two brothers, Russel and wife Shirley Wilhelm, Clayton and wife Rose Wilhelm. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home , 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. The Rev. Richard P. Brown will officiate. Reception following. Interment at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stoke Foundation or St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 519-655-2431.
