Doris SEYLER PEARSON

SEYLER PEARSON, Doris Doris Jean Seyler Pearson, 91, of Tavistock passed away in the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock on Thursday, April 29, 2010. She was born in South Easthope Township, Perth County on September 25, 1918 a daughter of the late Joseph Wilhelm and the former Delcie Ella Biederman. Doris was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tavistock. She was predeceased by her two husbands, Milton Seyler on October 16, 1971 and Sidney Pearson on May 27, 1985. She is survived by six sons, James and wife Ina Seyler, Donald Seyler, Kenneth and wife Arlene Seyler, Roy and wife Franca Seyler, Ted and wife Judy Seyler, Bill Seyler and Carole Gear; 15 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Harold Wilhelm; one sister, Shirley and husband Glen Binkle; sister-in-law, Rose Wilhelm, Idella Hertzberger, Sally Jantzi, Helen Seyler; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lorne and Frances Seyler, Laverne and Evelyn Seyler. She was predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Joanne Seyler (October 12, 2003), Myrna Seyler (January 12, 2007); two brothers, Russel and wife Shirley Wilhelm and Clayton Wilhelm; one sister, Florence and husbands Lorne Schmidt and Oliver Wilhelm and several "Seyler" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home , 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock, today (Friday) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tavistock on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Daniel Kitsch will officiate. Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Tavistock. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 519-655-2431.
