Penton, Robert Sim. 82, a resident of Montgomery for 13 years, died in a alocal

hospital at 9:45 pm Thursday after an extended illness. Survivors are a son,

Tom Heflin Penton, Dallas, TX, a daughter Mrs. Sadie Bell Prather, Montgomery,

three brothers, Marion Penton, Opp, Arch Penton, Hissop, Johnnie Penton,

Equality, four sisters, Mrs. Emma Ashley, Calif., Mrs. Jannie robbins,

Wetumpka, Mrs. Dera McKissick, Equality, Mrs. Lon Saxton, Sylacauga, an uncle,

George W. Penton, Montgomery, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grand children. The

funeral will be held from Concord Methodist Church near Rockford, Saturday at 3

pm with Rev. Cameron Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery

White Chapel directing.
