The family of the late Mr & Mrs. F. M. Penton had a homecoming at the home of

the eldest son, R S Penton at Hissop on Sunday, July 25. All the children were

present except one sister, Mrs. Oscar Atkins of Waco, Tx.

The ones present were: Mr & Mrs. R. S. Penton, Mr & Mrs. M P Heath, Mr & Mrs

Louis Howard, Mr & Mrs T A Penton, Oma Ruth, Lois and Nell, Mr & Mrs J P Heath

and Wyndell, Mr & Mrs, Clyde Prather, Bobby, Ishmael, Betty, Patsy and Carolyn

of Hissop, Mrs. W. L Penton, R S B Penton, Mrs. G. B. Arant, Mrs. H C Granger,

Mrs Adie McKissick, and Betty Mae of Equality, Mr & Mrs Raymond McKissick and

Willie Ray, Moody Penton, Mr & Mrs. Clem McKissick and Ellie Clem of

Montgomery. Mr & Mrs. E J Saxon, Mrs B. B. Allgood, James and Julia Ann of

Sylacauga, Mr & Mrs. J J Penton, Maggie Dea, John Embry, Ed, Betty, Elzie,

Joyce and Joe of Nixburg, Mrs. G. G. Dunson of Eclectic, Mr & Mrs. H G Robbins

There are 10 grandsons in service and all of them are overseas except one. We

hope that they can all be with us the next time we have a family reunion.

Everyone enjoyed the day very much. We enjoyed the lunch that was served in

the yard under the shade trees, taking pictures and talking with relatives who

were there.
