Equality

Penton, Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth died this morning at her home in Equality after a

long illness. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 3 pm at Bethesda

Baptist Church Equality, the Rev. Leon Boyd and the Rev. Leon Raley

officiating. Radney Funeral Home, Alex City in charge of the funeral

arrangements.

Survivors are three sons, Dwight Moody Penton, 212 N Capital Parkway

Montgomery, Leon Bross Penton, Equality, and Willie Lee Penton, Toronto Canada,

one daughter Mrs. V. T. Thompson 2201 Mt. Meigs Rd, Montgomery, two brothers

John F. Bross Equality and George F Bross, Columbus, GA, several neices and 12

great grandchildren.2
