Dwight Moody Penton, age 78, a resident of 824 Federal Dr. & a resident of Montgomery for 50 yrs., died at 2 pm Thurs., 22 Sep 1977, in a local hospital after an extended illness. Funeral on 24 Sep 1977 from White Chapel at 2 pm with burial in Greenwood Cem. Survivors: wife, Olene Jones Penton; dau: Jane Penton-Birmingham; son Dwight Richard Penton; sis: Mrs. V. T. Thompson-Montgomery. Pallbearer: Men's Bable class at Capital Heights Bapt. Church.
