Penton—McBean
The marriage took place in Bonar Presbyterian Church on Saturday afternoon of Vera Winnifred, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. McBean, and William C. Leigh Penton, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Penton of Equality, Ala., the Rev. Dr. Macgillivray officiating. The bride was given away by her father, and wore her travelling suit of Belgian blue faille, with pink-plumed, black velvet hat. The choir, of which the bride had been a member, sang the wedding hymn, and Mr. H. E. J. Vernon was at the organ. Mr. and Mrs. Penton left directly after the service for their new home in Lakeworth, Florida.
