Services held for L. B. Penton. Leon Bross Penton, 74, died Saturday at his
residence in Equality. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm from Bethesda
Baptist Church with the Rev. Thornhill officiating. Burial was in Equality
Methodist Cemetery with Radney's Brown Service Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include the widow, Mr. Laura Geneva Penton, Equality, one daughter,
Mrs. Anna Laura Meadows, tuscaloosa, one sister, Mrs. Victor T. Thompson of
Montgomery.3
